APAs In The Judiciary
One of AABA's main goals from its inception has been to promote the appointment of more Asian Pacific Americans to the judiciary. We believe we need a bench to reflect the diversity of the general populace. As more and more APAs appear in court as civil litigants, jurors, criminal defendants, and attorneys, it is vitally important that the adjudicators themselves who represent the justice system reflect those individuals' background and cultures.
