David Sohn is the principal attorney at SOHN LEGAL GROUP, P.C., where he prosecutes and defends socially just actions on behalf of individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations in a wide range of areas including employment disputes, business disputes, and corporate governance disputes. A significant portion of David’s practice is focused on prosecuting class actions for violations of wage and hour laws and consumer protection laws. Previously, David worked at several prominent national law firms in San Francisco. For his work, David has been recognized as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2009.

David’s involvement with AABA began in 2003 as a Co-Chair of the Mentorship Committee and subsequently as a Co-Chair of the Employment Committee. He has served on AABA’s Board since 2009. David is an active volunteer at El Centro Legal de la Raza in Oakland. He also contributes his time to the Workers’ Rights Clinic hosted by the Employment Law Center. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family and surfing at Ocean Beach.
