Before joining the Bank, Ted was previously a partner at Reed Smith, where he focused on commercial disputes, financial services litigation, and real property-related litigation. Most recently, he was on a secondment to the Bank, overseeing mortgage-related litigation.
His past experience includes: defending against a putative home loan class action, defending a title insurance company against a former agent’s multi-million dollar contract claims, obtaining a very favorable result for a Chinese company in a Las Vegas-venued stock purchase/employment agreement dispute, negotiating a favorable settlement of a construction defect case for a Fortune 500 client, and defending an eminent domain case for a national media company.
Ted was active on diversity-related efforts in his office as a member of the Hiring Committee and head of the Summer Associate Program. Ted has also been on the board of the Alameda County Bar Association and the California Bar Foundation.
