Please join the Women’s Committee on Wednesday, September 21st, for an exciting evening with Supervisor Jane Kim. Join us for a networking reception (drinks and light appetizers provided) after which Ms. Kim will share her insights and personal experiences regarding leadership in politics and community organizing.

Jane Kim sits on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. She represents District 6, which encompasses the Tenderloin, South of Market, Treasure Island, and Mission Bay. She currently Chairs the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee and the Transbay Joint Powers Authority.

Supervisor Kim was previously a community organizer at Chinatown Community Development Center, a civil rights attorney at Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, and served as President of the San Francisco Board of Education. She received her B.A. in political science/Asian American studies from Stanford University and her J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law.
