The past two years have seen a growing interest in political activism, including among attorneys. Government attorneys, however, face unique ethical constraints in when and how they can participate in such advocacy and activism.

This panel aims not only to educate attendees about the opportunities for getting involved, but also to inform public attorneys in particular what considerations they should keep in mind as they choose among those opportunities.

Panelists:
Mark Morodomi
Senior Counsel, University of California - Office of General Counsel

Mark Jacobson
Senior Attorney, Judicial Council of California

Hamid Yazdan Panah
Regional Director, Northern California Rapid Response and Immigration Defense Network

Seth Brysk (Moderator)
Regional Director, Anti-Defamation League

1 hour MCLE credit pending (0.5 General, 0.5 Ethics).
