11th Annual Pathways to Law Conference

We regret to inform you that the 11^th Annual Pathways to Law conference, hosted by the Asian American Bar Association, the Vietnamese American Law Society of UC Hastings, and UC Hastings College of the Law and scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14, 2020 is postponed until further notice.

On March 6, 2020, because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the San Francisco Department of Public Health has recommended that non-essential large gatherings should be cancelled or postponed. The health and safety of our attendees is a top priority.  This difficult decision to postpone the conference was made to follow the guidance from the Department of Public Health and based on a review of guidance from other relevant authorities.

Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area

Started in 2010, Pathways to Law (formerly known as "Legally Asian") is AABA's annual Bay Area pre-law conference designed to encourage high school, college, and post-college students, especially those from diverse backgrounds, to consider law school and the legal profession.

Often students from diverse communities may be the first in their families to attend graduate school or law school.  We recognize the importance of students meeting and learning from real attorneys with Asian Pacific Islander backgrounds when considering a legal career.

Our FREE, all-day conference features several panels of attorneys, judges, and law students and an interactive mock law class. Attendees also will be able to chat with attorneys during lunch.

Students from all backgrounds, their families, and educators are welcome.

Breakfast, lunch, and a free raffle will be provided.
