Caste-based Discrimination in the United States

Caste-based discrimination has been making headlines across the country as well as here in the Bay Area, particularly within the tech industry. Senator Wahab introduced SB 403 to add caste as a protected class. This panel will provide an introduction to caste discrimination and a discussion of SB 403 hosted by the Racial Justice Task Force in partnership with CHBA, CABL, and ACBA. This is part one of a two-part panel discussion that will be hosted on this topic. This event is open to the public. Approved for one hour general CA MCLE credit.
