    The AABA Community Services Committee and Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (APILO) operate a pro bono legal clinic that is staffed by volunteer attorneys and law students. The clinic helps ensure that low-income Bay Area residents, including many mono-lingual immigrants, will receive free legal information and advice from AABA volunteers. The APILO/AABA clinic assists individuals in a number of areas, including immigration and family law issues.

    The Oakland clinic is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at APILO’s office at 1305 Franklin Street, Suite 410.

    If you are interested in volunteering at the clinic, please contact the AABA Community Services Committee co-chairs for more information about the clinic. Co-chairs are listed here. No prior training or expertise is required, and foreign language skills are in high demand (particularly Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese).

    The San Francisco clinic is held on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at UC Hastings’ Civil Justice Clinic at 100 McAllister Street, Suite 300.

    Steep Ravine - Matt Davis Loop Trail is a 6.8 mile loop trail located near Stinson Beach, California that features a waterfall. Everyone goes at their own pace and it is a great way to network with other professionals while enjoying nature. 

    Explore this trail with AABA, the Asian Business League of San Francisco (ABL-SF), and Nakayoshi Young Professionals.

    WHERE TO MEET:​ 32 Belvedere Ave, Stinson Beach at 9am

    The hike will be followed by a no-host group lunch around 12pm.

    Come join the AABA Community Services Committee at the SF-Marin Food Bank as we prepare food donation packages to distribute to thousands of families in need of emergency food aid. As a volunteer, you will sort and package food to be distributed at local food pantries, children’s snack programs, soup kitchens and homeless shelters throughout San Francisco.

    All interested AABA members, family, and friends are encouraged to volunteer.  Minimum age for children is 8 years old.

    Please join AABA in its Annual San Francisco Giants Baseball Social on Monday, July 17, against the 2016 AL Champions, Cleveland Indians, first pitch at 7:15 at AT&T Park. 

    Tickets are limited. AABA has purchased the entire View Box 335. Each Ticket provides you entry to the game, a seat in our "View Box", and the Special Event Ticket for the Bruce Lee Tribute giveaway (and part of your ticket proceeds will benefit the Bruce Lee Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that motivates individuals around the world to be the best version of themselves). Tickets are $35 dollars each for Members, and $40 dollars for Non-Members (prices are subject to change).

    The Social Committee will be working with Advanced Discovery in securing a Pre-Game Tailgate. Details will be released as they are finalized. 

    Tickets are limited, and they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. If you do not have a ticket, you may have to sit outside the "Box".
