This special reception will mark an important milestone for Asian American general counsel, while raising awareness that Asian Americans continue to be significantly underrepresented in the legal profession as revealed by a recent report entitled “A Portrait of Asian Americans in the Law” (the “Portrait Project” - https://www.apaportraitproject.org/). Because of these disparities, all proceeds from sponsorships for the 100 GC Celebration beyond the cost of the event will be used to support a grant for The Portrait Project’s continued research into the causes and potential solutions of this underrepresentation.

Appetizers, wine, and beer will be served.

Note to General Counsel attendees: Please RSVP to the separate electronic invitation sent to you, or contact info@aaba-bay.com if you did not receive one.

Please join the Asian American Bar Associations's Community Services Committee as we make holiday cards for Meals on Wheels clients in time for the holidays!

Meals on Wheels will serve over 4,500 senior clients this holiday season. With each meal, seniors will receive a card that volunteers like you have made.  In many cases, the card you make will be the only card they receive during the holidays. Tap in to your inner artist and share the love with this special part of our community!

Though this event is a natural for the creatively-gifted, no experience is needed. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to glue, cut and paste. Children are more than welcome at this fun and creative event.  All craft supplies will be provided.

We will provide breakfast food and refreshments for everyone.  In the holiday spirit, we encourage you to bring in home-made treats for all to share.

Note: When signing up, please provide the names of every participant as a guest, including children, so they can clear building security.
