Gubb & Barshay is looking for an experienced real estate associate to join its growing team.  The firm has a sophisticated and nationally-recognized practice in the field of affordable housing.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of work experience, excellent writing skills, the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues, and familiarity with basic real estate documents, such as purchase & sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easement agreements, and construction contracts.  Prior experience with affordable housing is a plus, but not required.

We hope to hire a full-time attorney who wants to grow into the firm’s core work, in addition to taking ownership of the real estate pieces.  We’ll also consider a 60% or 80% hire who focuses exclusively on the real estate aspects of the transactions the firm works on.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.  We are equally proud of our hard work and our casual and friendly work environment and we offer excellent benefits, including a generous retirement plan.  Gubb & Barshay is committed to fostering diversity in the workplace.
