The Office of the County Counsel is seeking highly talented, highly motivated, fast learners to fill open attorney positions.
We will fill at least two (2) openings at the Deputy County Counsel level and one (1) at the Associate County Counsel level.
A minimum of five years of experience as a licensed attorney is required at the Deputy County Counsel level. Associate County Counsel is an entry level position, but ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience practicing law. Significant experience handling labor and employment law matters may be necessary to be competitive for at least one of the Deputy County Counsel openings.
The County offers a salary that is highly competitive with other local government law offices in Alameda County. Current salary range for the Deputy position is $162,926.40 - $225,472.00 and for Associate is $104,540.80-$157,851.20. The office structure allows opportunity for advancement as well.
