We have an opening for a junior associate in our Government Section to assist the firm's public agency clients. We serve as general counsel and special counsel to a variety of local government agencies, and are looking for a transactional attorney whose background demonstrates an interest in government and community affairs. The ideal candidate will have some experience in handling legal issues our clients address on a regular basis, such as transparency and open meeting laws, conflict of interests, competitive bidding and procurement, public works projects, rate setting, and public contracting. Responsibilities include researching and writing, reviewing and drafting contracts, analyzing issues and advising clients.

Candidates should have a distinguished academic background, impeccable references and CA Bar membership. Strong research, writing and analytical skills as well as excellent communication and people skills are required. We seek team players who are practical, take initiative, have strong project management skills, and are seeking a friendly and collaborative environment with a path to partnership.
