Senior Attorney - Litigation

Salary Range (depending on experience): $84,327-$105,575/year

The Senior Attorney leads and participates in systemic advocacy efforts to advance the rights of persons with disabilities, and handles a significant caseload of disability rights litigation in state and federal court. The Senior Attorney provides high quality client representation and legal supervision and mentorship for less experienced attorneys in the Civil Rights Practice Group.

The Civil Right Practice Group is a statewide team of attorneys focused on litigating complex and impactful cases to stop discrimination against people with disabilities. Our current goals include increasing and maintaining affordable, accessible housing; advocating against the criminalization of people with disabilities including those that are homeless; enforcing disability access rights and reducing discrimination in private and public programs and services; and ensuring that people with disabilities have access to courts, administrative agencies, and legal services. 

Minimum Qualifications: California State Bar membership and at least seven years’ experience as a practicing attorney with experience litigating and managing complex cases in state or federal court.
