    The California Labor & Employment Group of Reed Smith LLP is currently seeking  a sophisticated, experienced mid-level associate to join the Firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group resident in either the Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The Candidate must be a licensed California attorney and have employment litigation experience, including single plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions at a mid to large defense law firm. Candidate must also be familiar with Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery specifically Relativity. Candidate must have excellent writing and analytical skills, experience handling multiple cases, and be able to serve as the point person on litigation, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact. Candidate must have demonstrated project management skills and be able to take a case and run with it. Deposition and/or courtroom experience required. Employment advice and counseling experience are also desired. Candidate should possess solid academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
