    General Counsel

ApplePie Capital is an innovative financial solutions provider dedicated to the franchise industry. We enable high-quality franchise brands, their entrepreneurs, and investors to grow their businesses and achieve financial returns. We seek to bring a new economy to the franchise sector, creating a simple online experience, lowering barriers to entry and unlocking capital. By connecting qualified borrowers, proven brands, and a diverse network of capital providers, we’re increasing financial efficiencies and helping entrepreneurs start and expand businesses and create jobs. We have originated $500MM in cumulative loan volume since inception and have more than doubled our loan volume every year.

We are currently in the process of expanding our offerings beyond lending, having built a strong level of satisfaction and trust in our channel. A recent research survey we commissioned found 80% of the franchisees that have worked with ApplePie trust us to help them solve their financial challenges, with an NPS score of over 70. This satisfaction and trust opens up a window for ApplePie to craft the industry’s dominant digital platform for franchisees, filling the biggest gaps that other industry participants cannot fill for them—areas such as payments, credit cards, banking, insurance, optimization of unit economics, payroll, accounting & tax, which collectively represent $10 billion annual in revenue potential across our target market.
