    The San Francisco office of Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join its highly regarded land use, environmental, energy and natural resources practice.  Required for consideration is a minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, which could include judicial clerkship experience.  Preferred experience includes California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, California Planning & Zoning laws, State and Federal Endangered Species Acts, and Wetlands and Waters of the United States advice, counseling and permitting.  Experience in litigation will be an asset as will experience in regulatory compliance under clean air and clean water statutes. 

    Membership in the California Bar, excellent law school performance, significant writing experience, and excellent references are required.  The successful candidate also will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, commitment to client service, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
