2026 AABA Law Foundation Summer Awards
The AABA Law Foundation is now accepting applications for its summer awards, to be awarded at AABA’s Summer Diversity Reception on June 25, 2026 at UC Law SF. All applications are due by midnight on Friday, May 15, 2026. ALF is pleased to offer the following awards:
For Graduating 3Ls (Class of 2026):
The Justice Harry W. Low Fellowship. ALF is proud to again administer the Justice Harry W. Low Fellowship in 2026. This Fellowship awards $10,000 to assist a qualified graduating student to work for public/government agencies or non-profit organizations (“Public Service”). Please see the application for the definition of “Public Service” and all requirements/criteria. Download application here.
**NEW** The AABA Law Foundation Post-Graduate Fellowship. ALF is pleased to offer a new Post-Graduate Fellowship in 2026. This Fellowship, generously funded by Var Fox Yerganian, executive vice president and co-founder of ADR provider Judicate West, awards $15,000 to a qualified graduating 3L student with financial need. For 1L and 2L Law Students (Classes of 2027 or 2028):
The Salle Yoo and Jeff Gray Charitable Fund Summer Grants. This summer, ALF is pleased to once again offer two grants to help fund qualified summer law clerks. These grants, funded by the Salle Yoo and Jeff Gray Charitable Fund, are to assist students working during the summer either in a judicial externship or for a public interest organization that provides free or low cost legal services to the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community or other under-represented communities. The AABA/BALIF Joint Scholarship. In 2026, ALF and BALIF are pleased to once again offer a joint scholarship. The AABA/BALIF Joint Scholarship is available to an outstanding candidate who has a commitment to and demonstrated service and work in legal and social issues facing the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI)/LGBTQI communities.
