The AABA Law Foundation
For 30 years, the AABA Law Foundation has provided scholarships and grants to law students committed to the Asian Pacific American community. This year, the Foundation awarded $25,000 in scholarships. In addition, the Foundation awarded a $3,500 summer grant and a $20,000 public interest grant. The public interest grant was made possible through a generous $10,000 matching grant from the Nassiri & Jung Foundation, and was awarded this year to the Asian Law Caucus (ALC). In honor of AABA’s 40th anniversary, Raymond L. Ocampo Jr. doubled the impact of the grant with a $20,000 donation to ALC.
This year, the Nassiri & Jung Foundation has made another generous $10,000 matching grant to help us raise funds for a public interest grant to be awarded at AABA’s Annual Dinner on March 23, 2017. Raymond L. Ocampo Jr. is also challenging us with a generous $5,000 matching grant for a public interest grant in addition to his Family scholarship. All donors will be recognized in the AABA Dinner program booklet. Donors giving $250 or more will be invited to a special General Counsels and Judges Reception immediately before the AABA Annual Dinner.
Your donation to the AABA Law Foundation will provide crucial opportunities to the next generation of APA lawyers.
