  • Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP 405 Howard Street, 11th Floor San Francisco, CA 94105

This program has been approved for one hour of Elimination of Bias MCLE credit by the State Bar of California. This training will address the social science around “Implicit Bias” and provide examples of how implicit biases can affect our day-to-day operations in society, as well as result in disparate negative treatment towards people of color, even when seemingly “race-neutral” policies are applied. This presentation will also address the impact implicit bias can play in the school-to-prison pipeline and our criminal legal system, litigation strategies addressing implicit bias, and efforts individuals can take to counteract bias in their everyday lives.
