Join us for guided docent tours of the acclaimed "Then They Came For Me" exhibit at The Presidio, which examines the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II and draws important parallels to modern issues involving civil rights and immigrant communities. Donald K. Tamaki, partner at Minami Tamaki LLP and a member of the pro bono team that reopened the landmark Korematsu v. United States case, will present opening remarks and discussion. Guided tours will start at 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. The AABA Civil Rights Committee will also present perspectives from our “Nation of Immigrants” campaign. Light refreshments will be served.
